One email a week
Sunday evenings. Three sections, always:
- What shipped — the pull requests that landed in the last seven days, in plain English. What each one means for you.
- What to install — the new skills, rules, or version bumps you might want. What each buys you and what it costs to add.
- One thing learned — a short essay on something bassclef ran into this week and what it taught. Debugging, design decisions, weird corner cases.
What this is not
- Not a marketing newsletter. There is no product to buy.
- Not a comprehensive changelog. The GitHub release feed is that.
- Not a demand for your time. Skip a week. Skip a month. The archive is on Substack when you come back.
What you get in exchange for your email
Your email address. That is it. Substack handles the sending. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
No cross-promotion, no shared list, no forwarded pitches. If you signed up for the pre-launch waiting list at bassclef.dev, that list is separate — you will not get duplicate emails, and the essay list is opt-in.
